Our Mission

Technology built for the people who care for people.

Hansen Future Group exists to advance the technology that strengthens healthcare agencies of every kind — because at the end of every workflow, every automation, and every innovation, the patient is what matters most.

We build systems that empower caregivers, elevate agency operations, and ensure that every patient receives care supported by clarity, compassion, and modern tools.

Our Vision

The leading technology partner for healthcare organizations.

To become the leading technology partner for healthcare organizations — transforming fragmented systems into unified, intelligent platforms that allow caregivers to focus on what they do best: caring for people.

Hansen Future Group aims to set the standard for how healthcare technology should feel: simple, supportive, and centered on the patient.

  • Healthcare agencies operate with seamless efficiency
  • Caregivers have more time for human connection
  • Data improves outcomes instead of overwhelming staff
  • Technology becomes a quiet, reliable backbone of care
  • Every patient experiences dignity, safety, and personalized support
Core Values

Principles that guide every decision we make.

Patient-Centered Innovation

Every solution begins with one question: Does this improve the patient's experience and outcome?

Compassion Through Technology

We believe technology should amplify empathy, not replace it.

Clarity Over Complexity

Systems should reduce friction, eliminate confusion, and make care delivery easier.

Integrity in Every Interaction

Trust is earned through transparency, reliability, and doing what's right for agencies and the patients they serve.

Partnership With Purpose

We collaborate with healthcare leaders to build tools that solve real problems, not theoretical ones.

Operational Excellence

Strong systems create strong agencies — and strong agencies create better care.

Future-Forward Thinking

We anticipate the needs of tomorrow's healthcare environment and build solutions that scale with it.

Core Beliefs

What we know to be true about healthcare and technology.

The patient is the ultimate stakeholder.

Every decision, design, and deployment must honor the people receiving care.

Caregivers deserve better tools.

When caregivers are supported, patients thrive.

Technology should feel like a helping hand.

It should lighten the load, not add to it.

Healthcare agencies succeed when systems work together.

Fragmentation is the enemy of quality care.

Data is powerful only when it is actionable.

Insights must be clear, timely, and meaningful.

Automation should give time back to humans.

The goal is more bedside time, not more screen time.

Innovation must be responsible.

Healthcare technology must be safe, ethical, and built with respect for the people it serves.

Michael T. Hansen is a healthcare technology executive with a career built at the intersection of clinical practice and commercial leadership. He began at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, spending five years as a clinical laboratory scientist within the Molecular Hematopathology Laboratory — grounding him in the science, the workflows, and the patient stakes that define modern healthcare. From there, he transitioned into commercial roles at Abbott Laboratories, Thermo Fisher Scientific, Akoya Biosciences, and Agilent Technologies — spanning core diagnostics, precision medicine, pathology, and spatial biology.

He currently serves as Director, Business Development at Astrix, focused on enterprise growth across pharma, life sciences, and healthcare. The role continues to deepen his understanding of how complex organizations evaluate and adopt technology — and where the gaps are most acute.

Originally from the Midwest, Michael brings a grounded, values-first approach to everything he builds. He founded Hansen Future Group to address a critical gap: the lack of purpose-built technology for healthcare agencies of every size — from small community providers to large enterprise organizations.

That mission became deeply personal in May 2024, when his wife Tiffany was diagnosed with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Navigating that journey as a family — through the complexity of the healthcare system, the fragmentation of information, and the emotional weight of uncertainty — reinforced everything Michael believed about why better technology in healthcare isn't just a business opportunity. It's a human imperative.

Michael lives in Winchester, Virginia with Tiffany, their six children, and four dogs. He is a father first, a builder second, and a relentless advocate for the patients and caregivers at the center of everything Hansen Future Group does.

"At the end of every workflow, every automation, and every innovation — the patient is what matters most."

The principle that drives every decision at Hansen Future Group.
